Hi! Welcome to my little corner. It’s been a while since I’ve done a chatty blog post…but I am in the mood to write & share my perspective of this new season…Fall. Some of us love it, others would love to hold onto Summer a little longer. But, with the changing seasons comes a change of perspective and heart. I love Fall time not only for the golden colors, all things cozy, baking, and darling outfits…but also for that last stretch of the year to really “make it count”. With Autumn comes the count down to the big Holidays, and ultimately the New Year. A gentle but present reminder that we only have a few months before we start over again. I feel like it’s the time for traditions and memory making, as well as a time to complete the goals we promised to ourselves that we would keep at the beginning of the year.
This season in particular is reminiscent of the new school year starting, if you’re a Mom like me it also means all the sports, dance classes, and activities beginning again as well. Maybe it feels more like a season of “busy” than “being”. And I totally get that. But here is a encouragement for you during this time, make sure to prioritize gratitude, slow mornings (when possible), and indulging in the sweetness of a pumpkin spice something. Let us feel a sense of the wonder and whimsy of a stormy evening, the coziness of rainy days and Fall baking, and the romanticizing of lighting candles and reading books. Let us re-prioritize our lives a bit, slow down and re focus our efforts onto what is meaningful and beautiful during this season.
Thanks for stopping by!
