Hi, welcome back! Today I wanted to share a few snaps of my Fall decor. Decorating for the seasons/holidays has (and always will be) a favorite thing of mine! As the years have gone by, I’ve developed my personal style around the home more and more… I decided I wanted to switch up my Fall decor a bit this year, to match my changing design aesthetic. While I love the changing of the trees and hues of browns, orange, and yellows found in nature… I felt like I wanted to do something a little outside the box, and give me decor a slightly more neutral and glam look. I love following interior design accounts on Instagram, and through them I have found there really are no rules to seasonal decor, and you can get as creative as you like! Whatever color pallette you like can be incorporated, and that’s the fun of it!
Kitchen decor is SO fun & easy! I used packs of mini pumpkins to fill decorative bowls, and stuck with my shimmery color scheme. I had several Voluspa candles that I dressed up by putting them on candle holders. It seemed to further “glam” up the space. Next to my stove I have this coffee & tea tray that I made more festive by adding some paper cups, seasonal tea packets (love warm chai) and a glass pumpkin. I also love fun seasonal hand towels!
Our bedroom is very simple, I have a tray with a couple velvet pumpkins & gold acorns that I usually have on our dresser & I also have candles all throughout the room for added ambience. Adding cozy layers to your bed is perfect for Fall & Winter, and gives it that luxurious and plush look. I love dusty pink, gold, white, and creams. A little throw blanket = a lot of coziness!
On the mantel I added some cute velvet pumpkin sprigs + these wooden pears, it gives it a beautiful Fall vibe without being over the top.
My shelf is my favorite little collection of books, candles, and photo frames. I have a picture of both of my babies at the pumpkin patch for their first time displayed. Throughout my living room I have plush pillows + throws. To me this is the epitome of Fall & coziness.
Our home isn’t very large, so I have to get creative with my decor & try not to over power the space we have while still making it whimsical for this time of year. Have you decorated for Fall yet?!
Hope you enjoyed!
Thanks for stopping by!
