Hi! I’m writing this as BOTH kids naps, which never happens. So I’m relishing this rare occasion and taking the time to write out a little mid week blog post. I hope it inspires you!
I think the majority of us want to be healthy, and I for one love learning new tips to incorporate into our lives. It feels amazing to know you are doing things that will benefit yourself and family positively!
I’m just going to share 3 quick super easy healthy tips that I’ve been consistent with lately.
1. Drink half your body weight of water in ounces daily. The best way to keep track is to keep a water bottle that you know the exact ounces of. I love my LifeFactory one because it’s made from glass so I don’t have to worry about plastics and BPA. Did you know when plastic is heated (sitting in a hot car, left outside, etc.) that the chemicals are actually leached out into the water?! Yikes. I got my family all matching water bottles because it’s so important for all of us to get plenty of water in daily. I also love throwing in some lemon juice, fresh fruit, or mint into mine!

2. I’ve been making this super easy homemade cleaner that I use on everything! It’s equal parts water + white vinegar with a tablespoon of dish soap and about 20 drops of essential oil. My favorite oils to use in it are lavender, peppermint, or something fruity like lemon, grapefruit, or orange. Sometimes I get crazy and do a little mixture! 😉 I love that it’s so easy to make and you probably have all the ingredients already! I like to put my cleaning mixture in a Amber perri bottle, I think it just adds a little something extra.
3. If you know me you probably know how much I love coffee. And although I’ve found ways to make it healthier, I still try my best not to be totally dependent on it. I’ve been swapping it out lately with green tea. It’s so light and it still gives me a lot of energy! It’s also full of beneficial antioxidants and is something you can drink and never feel guilty about. I love that about it. Fresh lemon is great in this, and I also love it iced! I mean nothing beats coffee…but this is a really great pick me up! I love the brand Yogi. Next I am going to try Matcha tea!
