Hi! Hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving and still have enough leftover pie to get you through your Monday…:) I have been spending the whole morning cleaning my house after a very enjoyable holiday weekend! It feels so good to get organized after the house kinda being a mess for a couple days! How far along am I?

19 weeks! Almost to that half way mark! I haven’t gotten an ultrasound yet, but I am hoping to get to see my baby on one within a couple weeks! It’s crazy to me that there indeed IS a baby growing in there. But I really want to be able to SEE him!! The miracle of it all never ceases to amaze me! He has been moving a lot more in the past week and he is always extra active after I’ve ate something.

Does being pregnant with a little boy feel different than it did with a little girl?

Yes! I don’t know if it’s the gender or just it being a different pregnancy and and a different time in my life, but it does feel different! I definitely experience more of the common pregnancy symptoms, as with Scarlet I was pretty symptom free the whole pregnancy. I still sometimes get really nauseous, get heartburn, round ligament pain, and have had extra hair growth! Although I’m lucky enough to feel pretty good most days.

Are you carrying bigger this time?

I feel like I started showing a lot sooner this time around, but I think the amount of weight gain is about the same! I am trying harder this time not to gain too much extra! I felt super cute last time until about week 30 and then I felt like every time I breathed I gained 2 pounds, I think it probably was a lot of fluid retention too!

Name?

YES!! My husband took a while but he agreed to the name I had picked out since the beginning of pregnancy. We are still looking for a middle name though! I’m all about names that have a really awesome meaning and don’t just sound nice. We will announce his name after he is born, but for now we will refer to him as Baby K.

Totally in love with this little boy I haven’t even met yet!!
