Scarlet turned five months old yesterday! Only one more month and she is half a year old…too crazy. Time does fly. I am so thankful I have this blog as an open baby book of sorts to capture and record all these milestones

I love this age. With every month her personality comes out a little more. She is sweet and snuggly, but also strong willed and I think I can detect a bit of sassiness already… Ha! She giggles at my funny faces, tummy raspberries, and any extreme attempt of goofiness performed by Mama or Daddy. She enjoys people watching, and is getting fairly comfortable with people she sees on a regular basis. But I reserve the spot of favorite. And that’s not gonna change…;)

She has learned to clap, and will randomly do it but not on cue. Still rolls a lot, but doesn’t love tummy time for very long. Not sitting up sturdy yet, but she can for a minute with a little bit of cushioning around her. She will push her booty up in the air and scoot randomly when she is on her tummy. She still kicks a ton! I have a feeling she will be a fast crawler…

She is weighing in at 15.5 pounds, and is about 27 inches long. She isn’t chunky, but also not skinny. I love the little bit of extra fluff she has on her cute little legs though. It’s the best.

Since the past month she has sprouted three teeth and is continuing to teeth..I wrote a post on how we are coping with that here.
