39 weeks I thought I was about to pop then, over two weeks later and that word now has a new meaning…

40 Weeks I said this better be my last bump picture, even though I am now 41 + weeks pregnant I really don’t have the heart to take another bump pic.  I think everyone has seen enough of this bump anyways…;) How about a baby instead? Very ready for baby S. to be here.

As far as an update goes I was checked for dilation last Saturday, and I was a little more than 1cm. For those of you who may not know, I am going the all natural route and having as little intervention to deter me from the natural process of child birth as possible. Many people have asked me if I will get induced, but the answer is no, not unless there is a medical need to. At this point baby and I are healthy, just gearing up for the labor ahead! My midwife is on call at the moment but can be here in three hours if I do go into labor within the next couple of days. If nothing happens by Friday she will come into town regardless…because baby probably will come by the weekend we’re hoping!

I know this pregnancy seems to be dragging on and so many people just want to see little baby S. already! Trust me, so do I! I just wanted to say thank you to all my followers who have followed along with me during this journey. Ready for this next chapter…
