Hi everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday, I just woke up from a much needed nap! I was kept up all night by raging heartburn, it was the worst I’ve ever had. The sad part was I was too miserable and tired to even get out my phone and look up remedies. I finally ended up falling asleep propped up on about four pillows. If it happens again I think I’ll try the baking soda and water trick. Any of you preggos ever try this? Anyways… welcome to my week 33 bumpdate! I can see the finish line from here!
This week felt really busy and I honestly didn’t feel inspired to do my usual weekly outfit post. I looked in my closet and nothing looked appealing or different than what I’ve already done. So I decided not to stress it, and just enjoy my best friend being in town and the exciting event of my baby shower! My two closest girlfriends, mom, and sister put on my baby shower last Saturday. It was something I’ve been anticipating a lot in this last trimester of pregnancy. I like keeping things to look forward to, so it feels like time is passing quicker! It was so fun to celebrate this expected little babe and getting all the cute girly pink things that she will be wearing and using in only a matter of weeks! Thanks go out to all the lovely ladies who made the day special!
Tomorrow I will be 34 weeks which give me 6 more weeks until my due date. Things still feel surreal, I can’t imagine what it’ll be like giving birth, accomplishing bringing a little life into this world, and especially finally getting to see and hold her for the first time! I don’t think anything will feel real until like two months after baby S. has been here. haha.
Chloe, Me, and Angella freaking over “the bump” at my baby shower!
Love the “S” sign that will be hung in her nursery eventually!
Practicing my stroller pose for the many walks to come!
Thanks so much for reading along and following all my pictures and posts throughout my first pregnancy! I have learned so much and have felt so many emotions in these past several months of being pregnant. For all you preggo mamas to be out there, whether you’ve had a fairly “easy” pregnancy or have had a rough go of it… hang in there! I know it’s hard to feel beautiful sometimes with the ever changing body, and weird unexpected symptoms can happen..but it’s all apart of the journey! In the end it’ll all be worth it! <3
Leftover cupcake goodies from the shower and a chai latte in the most adorable mug ever!
